good-bye You stood frozen in the doorway,good-bye by ~nabnerd
trying to find something to say.
something meaningful.. useful
something to take this pain away.
desperately you search and search,
but there is nothing there to find.
you are destined for your failure,
and I to the horrors of my mind.
nothing left for us to say,
even less for us to do.
nothing beautiful ever lasts,
and I must say good-bye to you.
Silently you turned retreating,
finally turning your back on me.
It was then I realised that this is,
not what is, but, simply, what must be.

absolute nothingness all around
replaced by lasting peace and happiness
that in your presence i have found
like a single Star on a cloudy night
you guided me towards the land
where a sad journey ended, that
i knew not of let alone understand
upon that sad journeys end
another unplanned trip began
i know not where this journey will end
but, i will do the best that i can

thorn from my peaceful slumber
into a world thats cold and bleak
movement to my side
makes me turn in surprise
to see a vision of beauty
rubbing her sleep filled eyes
a morning that started so gray
was now a startling blue
now every morning is the same
all because of you
